6/21: IMPERIAL COUNCIL wins!!
IMPERIAL COUNCIL started as the 3 to 5 favorite in a three horse field after two horses scratched from the race. IMPERIAL COUNCIL broke well and stalked the early leader about 2 lengths back. Maragh did a nice job keeping in contact with the leader since he was the controlling speed in the race after the scratches. In the final part of the turn Maragh asked IMPERIAL COUNCIL for his run and he collared the leader about the 1/8 pole and pulled away in workman like fashion to win by 1 1/2 lengths. Time of the race was 1:35.97 for the mile. Congratulations to everyone!!!

5/9: IMPERIAL COUNCIL runs 2nd
IMPERIAL COUNCIL settled off the pace at the back of the pack trailing the leaders by 4 lengths. Lezcano patiently kept IMPERIAL COUNCIL two wide on the turn before splitting horses at the top of the stretch and angling him to the middle of the track. IMPERIAL COUNCIL closed swiftly down the stretch, but ran out of track and could not catching the winner, Flat Bold, as he finished second, defeated by 1/2 length.
