9/5: GHOSTWALKING runs 5th
GHOSTWALKING broke well and angled to the rail to secure the lead heading into the first turn. He continued to lead down the backstretch as he led by half a length over a couple of rivals. GHOSTWALKING maintained the lead until late in the turn, but he lacked the needed finish down the stretch as he faded to 5th, defeated by 3 3/4 lengths.

GHOSTWALKING broke awkwardly and dropped to the back of the field as he shied from kickback. Lebron angled GHOSTWALKING to the four path down the backstretch about four lengths back behind a moderate pace. GHOSTWALKING made a four wide move around the second turn, but he could not overtake the winner in the stretch as he ran 2nd, defeated by 1 1/2 lengths.
