1/31: TENPLUS runs 2nd
TENPLUS broke well and contested the pace half a length back after going two wide on the first turn. He maintained that position down the backstretch and was caught two wide into the 2nd turn. As Lanerie asked TENPLUS to commence his run the eventual winner, Island Soul, made a three wide move and gradually inched away. While no match for the winner, TENPLUS gave a game effort as he out battled the pacesetter, Guilty Plea, down the stretch to finish 2nd beaten four lengths.

TENPLUS broke well and secured a good stalking position on the rail two and half lengths off the pace. He maintained that position until midway on the second turn. Valenzuela asked TENPLUS for his run, but he tired down the stretch, while green to finish 6th beaten 9 lengths.
